Sandy Sullivan is the HR Principal with IronRoad where she manages a team of HR professionals located in Cincinnati, Columbus and Dayton, servicing clients in multiple states. With more than 25 years of experience leading Human Resources in Fortune 50, non-profit and privately held companies, she has worked across multiple industries supporting diverse populations of people.
Sandy studied Organizational Leadership at the University of Cincinnati and obtained her Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification in 2008. She is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management, Greater Cincinnati Human Resource Association, Human Resource Certification Institute and Center for Quality Management.
As an entrepreneur, Sandy owned and operated a successful downtown restaurant with her husband, Daniel for 10 years, while simultaneously managing a team of customer service representatives at GE. She has managed several one-person HR operations and was instrumental in the growth of several companies.
She has taught HR courses at Miami University’s Farmer School of Business, and mentored students on the impact of continuous improvement methodologies in HR practices. As a continuous improvement Champion, Sandy has led teams to achieve improved results in cost savings, increased revenue, customer service, standard operating procedures, and process improvements.
