The Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) states that nonexempt employees must receive overtime pay for hours worked over 40 in a workweek at a rate not less than time and one-half their regular rates of pay.
Some states have enacted overtime laws. When an employee is subject to both State and Federal overtime laws, the employee is entitled to overtime according to the highest standard.
IronRoad can provide the employee with a Pay Card. This is at no additional cost to the employee.
- The Pay Card will allow the company to go paperless without further cost of delivery fees.
- The employee no longer waits for a live check to get delivered.
- The funds are loaded via direct deposit to the Pay Card on payday.

Supplemental Pay is dollars given to the employee in addition to their regular wage and paid separately from their regular payroll. Per the IRS guidelines, in the Publication 15, this includes Bonuses, Commissions, Awards, Prizes, Severance, Retro Pay increases, etc. These dollars received are taxed at the Supplemental Tax Rate.

- Complete using your personal information and your Member ID number which can be found on your UMR insurance card.
Vision
- You do not need an ID card to use your vision coverage.
- You can simply share that you have EyeMed and provide your social security number.
- If you are on a UMR medical plan, go to Express Scripts.
- Choose Log In or Register.
- Complete using your personal information and your Member ID number which can be found on your UMR insurance card.

HSA: Health Savings Account
- A tax-advantaged medical savings account.
- Funded either by the employee and/or employer.
- You must be enrolled in a HDHP plan to contribute.
- IRS regulated and annual maximums.
- Money rolls over year after year.
HRA: Healthy Reimbursement Account
- An employer-funded plan that reimburses you for medical expenses.
- IRS regulated.
FSA: Flexible Spending Account
- A tax-advantaged medical savings account.
- IRS regulated and annual maximums.
- Up to $500 in unused funds can rollover into the next plan year.
- Limited FSA options for those enrolled in HSA
- Must be used for ONLY dental/vision expenses.
DCFSA: Dependent Care FSA
- Pre-tax benefit account used to pay for dependent care services such as preschool, day camps, before/after school programs, child/elderly daycare.
- IRS regulated and annual maximums.
