W-2 Information

As part of our Comprehensive Payroll Service, IronRoad provides the opportunity for you to receive your W-2 electronically each year. Please keep in mind that the tax documents will not become available until late January. As of 2023, all W-2s will be available in isolved; you will no longer be required to register with Solv to access your W-2 electronically.

ACA Notices: They will be issued in the same way that your W-2 is issued, either electronically in isolved or mailed out to the address on file.

All 2023 W-2s will be available on the isolved employee self-service portal by January 31, 2024

If you opted to receive a W-2 via mail delivery, your W-2 will be postmarked from Cincinnati Ohio no later than January 31st and sent to the address on file for you in isolved.  Please allow up to 2 weeks from that date for delivery. 

If you signed up for an electronic W-2, you will receive an email notification from isolved as soon as your document is available for download in isolved. Please keep an eye on your inbox for this important notification.

Please visit https://ironroad.myisolved.com/cloudservice, log in using your credentials and select Pay and Tax > Year-end Tax Forms to download and print your W-2 form securely.

We will begin printing duplicate W-2’s the week of February 12, 2024.  If you need a copy of your W-2 sooner than February 12th, you may access an electronic copy via your isolved employee self-service portal.  This option is available to you, even if you didn’t sign up for electronic delivery.

Yes, If your status shows declined, but you want to change your option to I Accept

  1. Go to URL: https://ironroad.myisolved.com/cloudservice
  2. Enter your username and password.
  3. Click on the 3 pink vertical dots in the top right corner of the screen and select “Preferences”.
  4. Click on “Change” on Consent to Electronic Delivery of Tax Forms
  5. Select “I Accept” indicating your acceptance of the Terms of Use and Consent to Electronic Delivery of Tax Forms
  6. Click “Save”

Once you have accepted the Consent to Electronic Delivery of Tax forms, you will be enrolled to receive your W-2 electronically.  You will receive an email notification when the forms become available in isolved.


Yes, if your status shows accepted but you want to change your option to I Decline

You must notify IronRoad via email at helpdesk@ironroad.us that you wish to withdraw this election. 

      1. Subject Line: isolved Request to Withdrawal Consent to Electronic Delivery

      5. Written notice that you are requesting the withdrawal of your consent for electronic delivery of tax forms through isolved.

A paper copy of all Year-End forms will be mailed to your home address on file

 

You can update your address in isolved by following the steps below.

  1. Go to URL: https://ironroad.myisolved.com/cloudservice
  2. Enter your username and password.
  3. Click on the 3 pink vertical dots in the top right corner of the screen and select “Classic View”.
  4. On the left-hand side of the screen, click on Employee Self-Service > Contact Information
    1. Note: If you are doing this on a mobile device, you may need to turn the device sideways to view these options.
  5. Update your address and click “Save”

Frequently Asked Questions

The Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) states that nonexempt employees must receive overtime pay for hours worked over 40 in a workweek at a rate not less than time and one-half their regular rates of pay.

Some states have enacted overtime laws. When an employee is subject to both State and Federal overtime laws, the employee is entitled to overtime according to the highest standard.

IronRoad can provide the employee with a Pay Card. This is at no additional cost to the employee.

  • The Pay Card will allow the company to go paperless without further cost of delivery fees.
  • The employee no longer waits for a live check to get delivered.
  • The funds are loaded via direct deposit to the Pay Card on payday.

Supplemental Pay is dollars given to the employee in addition to their regular wage and paid separately from their regular payroll. Per the IRS guidelines, in the Publication 15, this includes Bonuses, Commissions, Awards, Prizes, Severance, Retro Pay increases, etc. These dollars received are taxed at the Supplemental Tax Rate.

Employer must complete a First Report of Injury in order to file a Worker’s Compensation Claim.

  • The “Deductions” side of your paycheck is what “you” the employee is paying for in benefits.
  • The “Benefits” side of your paycheck is what they employer pays for on your behalf.

Medical and/or Dental

  1. www.umr.com
  2. Create an employee login by choosing ‘Register’.
  3. You will then choose the ‘Member’ option.
  4. Complete using your personal information and your Member ID number which can be found on your UMR insurance card.

Vision

  1. You do not need an ID card to use your vision coverage.
  2. You can simply share that you have EyeMed and provide your social security number.
  • If you are on a UMR medical plan, go to Express Scripts.
  • Choose Log In or Register.
  • Complete using your personal information and your Member ID number which can be found on your UMR insurance card.

Medical

  1. Go to www.umr.com
  2. ‘Find a Provider’.
  3. Choose ‘Medical Radio Dial’.
  4. Choose Under ‘U’
    • UnitedHealthcare Choice Plus Network

Dental

  1. Go to www.umr.com
  2. ‘Find a Provider’.
  3. Choose ‘Dental Radio Dial’.
  4. Choose ‘UMR Managed Dental Network’.

Vision

  1. Go to www.umr.com
  2. Choose ‘Find an Eye Doctor’ at the top of the screen
  3. Provide zip code of choice and select the ‘Insight Network’.

HSA: Health Savings Account

  • A tax-advantaged medical savings account.
  • Funded either by the employee and/or employer.
  • You must be enrolled in a HDHP plan to contribute.
  • IRS regulated and annual maximums.
  • Money rolls over year after year.

HRA: Healthy Reimbursement Account

  • An employer-funded plan that reimburses you for medical expenses.
  • IRS regulated.

FSA: Flexible Spending Account

  • A tax-advantaged medical savings account.
  • IRS regulated and annual maximums.
  • Up to $500 in unused funds can rollover into the next plan year.
  • Limited FSA options for those enrolled in HSA
    • Must be used for ONLY dental/vision expenses.

DCFSA: Dependent Care FSA

  • Pre-tax benefit account used to pay for dependent care services such as preschool, day camps, before/after school programs, child/elderly daycare.
  • IRS regulated and annual maximums.
